Update: 2015 - this isn't here anymore! The new junction is slightly further south, the roundabout being approximately where the westbound M7 slip diverges from the southbound M20N20/N21 multiplex S of Limerick

In 2008, Limerick City Council started to erect signs like this in the vicinity of two large stadia in close mutual proximity in the north-western suburbs. The signs were erected following representations from local community groups concerned about damage to green areas.
Whether you drive, cycle or use public transport, this set of signals must rank as one of the most vexatious in Limerick. A conspiracy theorist might state that the phases are biased to benefit drivers exiting from the adjacent hotel.......
Condell Road Limerick There is a pleasant area of grass and trees by the road. The road is the N18, main road west from Limerick on the north of the Shannon.
The new Shannon Bridge, Limerick The new Shannon Bridge under construction, downstream of the Sarsfield Bridge of 1835 2757125. It opened in 1988 as part of an inner relief road.
