Not that asthetically pleasing, but I like it

Originally uploaded to Coppermine on May 04, 2005 by M4SimonThe present junction provides little use for the most important traffic flows, these being A5 to A5 and A5 West to A5148. The former single roundabout with unused earthworks should have had the flyover built and then direct links from the A5 to the M6 added to make M6-A5148 movements freeflow. As the M6 Toll would be free there would be less traffic using the A5 to avoid the tolls.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Nov 15, 2008 by TruveloJ4 assuming the M6 Toll was free. The major traffic flow on the roundabout is using the A5 so this needs a flyover to avoid the roundabout and freeflow connections to the M6 West.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Nov 15, 2008 by TruveloThis shows how J3 should have looked with fully freeflow movements rather than two tight roundabouts on the A38 mainline
