Old and New pre-warboys speed limit signs
An old Pre-warboys 15mph speed limit sign was recently replaced by a brand-new version by the army Authorities on army land at Brompton, Gillingham, Kent. Is this the only example of a 'Brand-New' Pre-Warboys design sign?

Right (down slight hill) to the A2 (Chatham or Gillingham) also the Will Adams Roundabout, left to Honourable Pilot Pub, Roko Health Club Parking and B+Q Store, or behind viewer to the Gillingham Business Park and Ice Rink.
Named after Will Adams, the Gillingham born, Elizabethan Samurai nobleman, he is a contemporary of Sir Francis Drake. He is still revered in Japan as 'the Blue-eyed Samurai' and founder of the Japanese Navy. He is the 'Shogun' original of the popular television serial drama, and the James Clavell novel of that name.

Chatham, near where the A2 bridges the A230. Not sure if the ancient design is improved by the addition of the modern plastic headgear...
