Turnoff for Swinford from the N5

The N26 Main Street, Swinford

The Barrow Bridge, New Ross A tidal river some twenty miles from the open sea, this is the lowest crossing point on the river and hence the reason for the importance of the town. The community on the far side of the river is Rosbercon.
