Feeder Road Early Design.png
Early design for Feeder Road Interchange as part of the Bristol Outer Circuit Road. The plan soon changed to a trumpet and remained so until plans to build the road were abandoned.
Feeder Road Later Design.png
Layout of Feeder Road Interchange which would have connected the road of that name to the Outer Circuit Road. This is the later design for the junction which had changed to a trumpet. The trumpet would have initially ended on Feeder Road at a T-junction but at least one plan shows a proposal for a large 6-arm roundabout.

Three Lamps Final Design.png
The final design for Three Lamps Interchange dated from 1973 shortly before the project was canned. By now the layout was a lot simpler than the previous design.
Three Lamps 1970-1972.png
Layout of Three Lamps Interchange as planned between 1970 and 1972. This was the most ambitious design for the junction.

Outer Circuit Road.png
Early plan for Bristol Outer Circuit Road showing the original route and junction layouts from around the mid 1960s. At this time there would have been breaks in the grade separation at the M32 and Bedminster with the Outer Circuit Road giving way at the roundabouts. The route between Three Lamps and Coronation Road also takes a more southerly line compared to later versions from the late 1960s onwards.

Three Lamps mystery design.png
Undocumented layout of Three Lamps Interchange dating from 1970 onwards but having features consistent with the 1973 plan. The design places all the slip roads south of the river and may have been one the last designs to be drawn when the layout was very much simplified over earlier versions.
