Worthing Road - Geograph - 5047617.jpg
Worthing Road A view of the section between the entrance to the Knepp Estate and the junction with the B2135. The road is of some antiquity as the parish boundary between West Grinstead and Shipley follow it as far as the junction with Bar Lane to the north. The line here roughly follows the central reservation with the northbound lanes in the parish of Shipley and the southbound in that of West Grinstead. The road was widened here in the mid 1960s. Fairly quiet at 7am on a Saturday morning but has a reputation for having a high number of accidents due to the large number of minor junctions throughout its length.
