Sign at Inveralmond Roundabout in Perth - shame the proofreader thought Inverness was South of Perth!
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on May 18, 2007 by paullyThis sign in Perth directs you to the now defunct M85! I was under the impression this sign had been patched over but clearly it has not been.
Another mistake on this (and the previous sign which has been patched to hide the M85 name) is the use of the 'chopsticks' to signify the start of motorway regulations! So if the road ahead is subject to motorway regulations is the speed limit 70?!?

Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Feb 02, 2006 by paullyThis is in the same area as the other one I have posted, the access roads from all angles are barely S2 and the painted roundabout is tiny.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Feb 02, 2006 by paullyThe same mini roundabout from another angle, all the roads onto it are very narrow and the roundabout itself is tiny. The road in the distance is S1 for a short stretch.

Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Feb 02, 2006 by paullyI can't stress enough how small this mini-roundabout in Perth is. See the other pictures of it too...

Plans for a new A9. Perhaps if all the land had been bought then, the dualling would have been completed by now.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Aug 29, 2008 by SteveA30Traffic heading north along the east bank of the Tay is held up by the Bridgend traffic lights, with the queue often extending back to the city boundary. Pedestrians usually go quicker than motorised vehicles at this time of day; it's fun to pick out a distinctive car and compare progress.

Strange sign in Perth advising that large vehicles should turn right at the junction. See also close-up version; the sign is hard to see until you are up close.
