Gallery:Photo of the Month April 2007
I took this from J38 looking towards Hull, where the M62 turns into the A63. The concrete surface remains, and flat-glass lanterns light the carriageway. photo taken at about 6.50pm saturday march 18th 2007.
It may not win, but I like the colours at this time of day.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Mar 18, 2007 by True YorkieAn older-looking version of last month's submission. One comment was that it was the kind of photo that should hang in a local hotel/pub; this is how I've made it look to frame and hang in the house. Taken February 2007.

The Bridge carries the Riverside Expressway over the Brisbane River, whereupon it continues south as the South East Freeway, leading eventually to the Gold Coast via the Pacific Highway.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Mar 20, 2007 by jonny77Part of the Barnstaple Bypass involved changing the bottom of Old Stickepath Hill a dead end. When I was there back in December, the Give Way sign still stood (it still stood when I did that tour for BigToe in the latter part of January, but the yellow diversion sign did not!).
The bridge in the background is the Station Viaduct, bringing in the road from the new A39 roundabout to the roundabout (possibly going to be signalised) before the main bridge itself.

Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Mar 19, 2007 by DavidBrownDoesn't really stand a chance, especially because of the weather, but never mind. I chose this photo following the plans to close our services with the longest name, and because it houses memories for a few people here.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Mar 18, 2007 by MSAJohnnyDid well last month, so I thought I'd have another go! Flyovers at the roundabout with the A12 Eastern Avenue. Once upon a time 'J3' of the M11.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Mar 18, 2007 by Sunil_of_YoxleyI took this photo last year. To be honest it wasn't to show the road, it was to show the cowslips amonst the Cotswold stone

Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Mar 24, 2007 by murphaphThis photo probably won't win because of the great standard of other entries, but i'll sumbit it anyway...:P
A lovely summers day on Merseyside; photographing the access road to the 'The Pastures' housing estate, completed in 2002. The estate is built on the site of the former Bold power station.
This photo IS NOT my own, it is sourced from www.geograph.org.uk.
