This is the statue of St Bernard, near the top of the Petit St Bernard pass, on the French / Italian border
This bridge carries the main coastal highway of Croatia into the southern city of Dubrovnik, which was heavily shelled during the Croatian independence war in the early 1990s.
Taken from a hill almost directly above national highway 6, this image shows us the beginning of Ben-Shemen interchange, with a view of the Ramla-Lod urban area in the background.
I know a foreign picture has never won POTM but there's always a first, besides, I've taken no pictures of British roads lately.
This is another bid for foreign POTM.
This pic taken in the 1950s (not by me!) shows the dualling under construction at the far right of the pic. The building is the well known Ram Jam Inn.

This is the A57 to the east of Snake Pass, even though the marker post appears to indicate a primary road!
Starlings (I think) lined up on a streetlight at the junction of the Eastern Avenue and Horns Road/Ley Street, north Ilford.
It's been one full year since I took this photo! (nearly, give or take a month or so)
I like it because it's all white with snow but has a bit of colour (the signs)
