THE Ironbridge

No prizes for guessing where this bridge is. I've spent quite a few hours over the years photographing it. Every road enthusiast should visit Ironbridge and take in this amazing piece of engineering

A different take on the roads theme. The view west out of the Sparkford LC on the A303, next to the Shell garage. Formerly a Happy Eater and before that, the Frying Pan cafe. He looks like a happy eater though.

Holborn Circus - Coppermine - 13265.jpg
Holborn Circus

Taken from the end of one of Britain's shortest B roads, the B500 Charterhouse Street. The photo is taken from Zone 5. The statue is in the middle of the A40. The glass building is Sainsbury's HQ and is in Zone 4 (the A40 runs to the right of it (westbound)) and the A4 starts just behind the statue, running between the brick building and Sainsbury's. The brick building is therefore technically in zone 3, though before the A4 was re-routed via New Fetter Lane, it would have been in zone 4.

Covered Bridge, Atlanta GA

I know a foreign picture naver makes POTM, however, we all like a nice bridge. These bridges are becoming more andmore rare over the Southern States, so its always nice to find one.

Old A40 Between Abergavenny & Raglan

From the recent South Wales Roadtrip. Now I know it's the B4598 (former A40). Cropped accordingly both to fit in a banner and to take out the dashboard of the car!
