Roundabout - Coppermine - 7349.jpg
Roundabout

Just an ordinary British roundabout, albeit a recent one with (unusually for a dumbbell roundabout) trees planted inside. For the curious, it's the northern roundabout of the dumbbell at the Cambourne junction of A428.

I thought the very definite horizontal would suit the site banner quite well.

The Leeds Inner Ring Road at night

It's been a while since I've submitted a PotM nomination, and a while since we've had an '...... at night' submission. So here is the Leeds Inner Ring Road at night - taken from the Woodhouse Lane car park looking east - taken just after the conclusion of the SABRE Leeds Awayday in January 2004.

The Lake at Tebay Services - Coppermine - 7297.jpg
The Lake at Tebay Services

The loveliest and most special MSA in this country, in my opinion. A view over the lake at Tebay Services on the M6, taken from the restaurant. Although it was an overcast day, the clouds give the photo atmosphere, in my opinion. The M6 can just about be seen right in the distance.

The Sheppey Crossing - Old & New

Taken in July 2006, 5 days after the new crossing opened, this photo captures the old and new bridges in the same frame, and shows how quiet the old bridge had already become.

Location

Pity about the lack of definition in the sky, but you should see the view from the bridge!

Dover U-Shaped Flyover

All the other entries have been bridges, so here's one with a twist?
