New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the A55 ends of the new slip roads. Both have hard shoulders, which I imagine goes some way to explain the size of the work area.
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This is a view of the A55 to the west of the bridge (a view which hasn't been changed).
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the view over the bridge. The road's a bit narrower, and the pavement a bit wider, the studs are in a different place and the centre line is solid.
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the top of the new A55 off slip. It's hard to get a good picture of it because of the slope, but this is the start of the 2 lane section.
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the new S2 bit of Lesters Lane. Yes, it is quite bendy. And no, I don't know why there's a huge pile of gravel in that field, although it's been there all year.
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the northern roundabout. It could be teardrop shaped, but it isn't.
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the approach to the roundabout from the southern A5104. None of the signs I've seen suggest that there could be more than one roundabout here.
I don't know why there's a stripy pole there.New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the top of the new on slip, complete with hard shoulder. In addition, you no longer need to go all the way to Llandegla to find the way to Caer. This is the only sign here which tells you, though.
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the realigned off slip. It has a bit of a curve, but it doesn't look too bad as a roundabout approach.
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the realigned on slip, complete with sharp bend. At least they didn't have to rebuild this slip road.
This is one of the faces of the prism sign at the A542/A5104 roundabout outside Llandegla. Unfortunately, the plate neglects to mention whether the issue is one of ice or snow drifts.
Sign installed as part of the A1073 improvement resulting in this section of the A16 becoming A1175 when the new road opens. In the meantime there's a temporary A16 patch that will be removed to reveal A1175 upon completion.
This sign, like the others between Market Deeping and Spalding, has been renewed to coincide with the A1073 improvement. However this one has A1175 uncovered when all the others are painted over as it's still currently the A16.
Signs erected in preparation for the new A1073. The old signs had Peterborough to the right which is still the case until the new road is completed so Peterborough is painted out. A16 is a stick on patch which will reveal A1175 when removed.
New signs at the A16/A1073 junction. Some of the destinations are blanked out as the new road isn't yet fully opened. On the second sign are some blanked out local destinations. As is the case these days traffic is often directed via a better road even though it is further to travel.

M54 Motorway at junction 1, westbound
Sign on public road aiming to private premises, so unsure if counts as pre-Worboys or a local issue of the era.
No. 14
Perhaps a rare design in concrete lamppost design???
