Postbridge This is the 'modern' bridge near the ancient Clapper Bridge at Postbridge, on Dartmoor, Devon.
Postbridge Clapper Bridge The Clapper Bridge at Postbridge, dating from the thirteenth century. Three huge slabs of granite on stone piers span this part of the East Dart on the old packhorse route between Plymouth and Moretonhampstead. The bridge is a few yards south of the turnpike bridge which carries the B3212 and is a popular stop off for visitors.
