A direction sign on Park Lane, Long Sutton, Lincolnshire. I seem to think it used have a different coloured background, but cannot remember. Sadly now removed.

A1005 Pre-Worboys, Enfield

Suitably adorned with a direction sign for an antiques fair, this is one of a pair of pre-Worboys on the A1005, just north of Enfield. Taken April 2004.

A207 Crayford Sign

This painted pre-worboys sign near Crayford, Kent is faded, but I have enhanced the phto, and It made the colour less-faded.

Pre Worboys sign on approach to A889 at Catlodge

Appledore Sign

Apart from the sign at Woodchurch on the B2067, this is the only other pre-Worboys 'junction approach' sign in South East Kent (as far as I know). It's on the B2080 in the village of Appledore. It is smaller than its brother on the 2067, being supported by a single pole.

The former B3153/B3165 junction in Somerton complete with old fingerpost and Pre-Warboys junction signage. The right hand road leads back to the new alignment of the B3153, but is now unclassified

B468 sign Northwood

Thanks to Streetview I've found another survivor in very good condition. Meanwhile the road has been upgraded to an A road but no one cares about that when they're lost.

Old sign heading south on B970 at Glen Feshie junction.

Banstead Downs (2)

Same junction as previous picture, facing west (the first sign is in the hedge on the left, pointing towards us) Note the yellowing of the white parts. This is the point where the B283 turns north, along Burdon Lane.

One of the original road signs near the junction of The Ridgeway and Hadley Road.

Sign near A541 west of Clwyd

This is a sign on the unclassified road between Green and Graig at its junction with the A541 at SJ066700. There are modern signs once you reach the junction a short distance behind the second tree.

Bramley Road pre-Worboys sign Originally one of the full set of four. I think only two now remain, this and the one from the south on Chase Side. I have seen a 2003 photo of the westbound one but didn't see it when I was there.

Chase Side pre-Worboys sign Approaching the roundabout at the A110 in Cockfosters. The twin sign is approaching also from the east but seems to have gone from the west recently. There are six yellow arrow signs as well on the roundabout itself.
