R560
Road to Connor Pass from the south The road climbs from the small town of Dingle to the Connor Pass.
The road over the Connor Pass This road gives spectacular views as it climbs over the Connor Pass en route to Dingle which lies in the middle of this picture. The road does have a 2 tonnes weight.
Connor Hill Road Viewed looking towards Dingle, with the Connor Hill Pass to the right and Slievanea to the left.
Conor Hill Road takes a sharp right With the R560 it's always a toss-up between watching the road or the scenery. The Brandon Mountain is in the distance. Many thanks to IanMT for his help on these speculative uploads.
Road warnings on the Connor Pass This is at the top of the Connor Pass, where the R560 road narrows and descends on its way to the north-east. It crosses the face of the cliffs on a ledge and is interesting; the warning signs need to be heeded !
Head of the Connor Pass The final kilometre of the Connor Pass road up to the summit from the north is very narrow and dramatically carved out of the mountainside.
