Gantry sign on the N18
This signs the junction with the N19 Shannon airport access route in Co Clare. This is probably the most westerly gantry sign in the country.

If you want to bypass Limerick while travelling along our West coast your best bet is to take the Shannon ferry from Killimer in Co. Clare to Tarbert in Co. Kerry or vice versa.
