The Sky Road A scenic high level road on the peninsula between Clifden Bay and Steamstown Bay.
The Sky Road, looking west A drive westwards from Clifden takes you along the coastal road around this peninsula. It can be somewhat vertiginous for those of a nervous disposition, but the views are spectacular. To the west lie the islands of Talbot, Eesal and Inisturk.
Looking east along Sky Road - Lettershanna Townland This part of the Sky Road scenic loop, on this side of the peninsula it is almost at sea-level.
