M40 J5 original plan.png
Original design for M40 J5 showing a limited access roundabout GSJ with just east facing slip roads. This was the temporary western terminus of the motorway with provision for it to pass beneath the roundabout. The junction was never completed in this form as it was rebuilt as a diamond when the M40 was extended to Oxford.
