M275 unfinsihed junction - Coppermine - 4241.jpg
M275 unfinished junction

Looking over the fence to the right of this photo. The other half of the roundabout should be here, and the fence in the distance should be sliproad.

You can easily imagine this as a roundabout interchange.

Optimistic Esso map - Coppermine - 11121.jpg
Optimistic Esso map

A scan of south Hampshire from a mid-1980s Esso Motor-Map No.2. If you look carefully you will notice the M27 has a junction 6 and the M275 has a Tipner junction, both of which are unbuilt, although the latter is likely to be built soon. Why didn't they go the whole hog and show Segensworth Services or an extension to the A3(M)? Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Apr 07, 2007 by sotonsteve

Optimistic Esso map

A zoomed in view of the mid-1980s Esso motor-Map showing the M275 Tipner junction. Unlike M27 Jct 6 this junction is actually going to get built, albeit over 20 years after the map shows it. Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Apr 07, 2007 by sotonsteve

This is half the roundabout, and where the road dives off to the left should be the sliproad. The roundabout should go to the right where the leaves are.

This is where Tipner Lane should meet the roundabout.
