Ford at Brook End
Seems OK, and seems to have been used. Perhaps not by motor vehicles. Brook End is the hamlet just beyond.

Ford Warning Sign With Different Font Supplementary Plate - Grandborough

View of the warning sign and Use Causeway If Flooded supplementary plate at Grandborough. This sign is at the other end of the ford and differs from the previous photo published of the supplementary plate. This plate was missing at the time of the first photo in earlier May and and this replacement to a different font and size had appeared by 25 May 2007.

The snow warning here is hidden behind the trees, but it repeats the same message of the previous signs. Notice how the '!' has been used from the 'other danger' warning sign. Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Sep 05, 2006 by Bryn666

Temporary Traffic Signals Little Morrell - Coppermine - 16801.JPG
Temporary Traffic Signals Little Morrell

Temporary traffic signal head mounted on a sign post on the stream bridge at Little Morrell SP313 572 where single file operation has been initiated following deterioration of the bridge structure. Signs indicate a road closure from 18th February for the repairs to be carried out. Possibly WCC used this arrangement as it was more efficient than portable signals and less likelihood of them being nicked!? 8 February 2008

Victoria Pier Extension, Douglas... (C) Dr Neil Clifton - Geograph - 561619.jpg
Victoria Pier Extension, Douglas... (C) Dr Neil Clifton
In the early 1960s, (possibly in connection with a Royal visit), Douglas Corporation built a short extension of its tramway towards the Victoria Pier. In fact the extension saw very little use, (it was said that the horses knew quite well where the tramway should end, and refused point-blank to go the extra few yards!), so photographs of it with a tram on it are quite rare. Here car No 32, complete with horse, prepares for the return journey to Derby Castle.
