The future lane will run off the current road just behind me and, this part will be closed completely. Whilst here, I had one loud 'Oi!' and a 'What are you doing?' The idea that taking photos is 'wrong', is slowly taking hold in the public consciousness.

April 7 2009. 4 months since work started, after the archaeological dig was completed. Railway down below the trees. This is either going to be a steep climb or, a deep cutting.

Looking south at a computer pic of the new A354 into Weymouth. 'Old' road is shown as narrow scar, which bears left to the hairpin, -which is removed in this pic- and down into Broadwey. The new road was a D2, now its an S2/1.
