People out for a Sunday walk on the new bridge prior to tarmac being put down. It was quite an attraction for a while, people from both sides of the river being able to walk across.

This was taken a few days later as I was laid up for a day or two. The two kids are my lads who came down to see it with me.

The sections are nearly in place. The work was done by around 10pm by which time all the people watching were perished. I ended up with a cold.

Slight problem occurred; the road side collapsed as the crane went past due to the weight and the wetness of the ground. The worker is by the drainage ditch which as you can see was breaking up. It was a long day.
