Garrison Roundabout is a junction on the A518 in Telford. It was not part of the original proposals for the new town. The A518 diversion was intended as a dual carriageway with grade separated junctions. The original junction locations were to be Crowbrook Interchange to the southwest and Donnington Farm Interchange to the northeast. With the scaling back of proposals for Telford in the mid 1970s the A518 was built as a single carriageway with roundabouts. As roundabouts don't suffer from weaving which plagues closely spaced interchanges it enabled Garrison Roundabout to be added to the proposals.
