Goat Hill Bridge carries the B3358 across the River Barle just inside the Somerset border on Exmoor. It is the closest bridge on a classified road to the river's source, and as such is a very small single arch structure of uncertain age. Despite this, however, the road takes a tight U-bend to cross the bridge, following the contours to save on building an embankment or larger bridge. This suggests that the bridge is somewhat older, as otherwise the straightness of the road would probably have taken priority.
