Grassyards Interchange lies on the A77, Kilmarnock Bypass to the east of the town. It is a modified Diamond interchange, with the B7082, which heads south west into the town centre. There are also two minor roads to the east. One continues the line of the B7082 to meet the A719 near Grassyards, whilst the other turns off the southbound onslip at a mini roundabout and turns east to meet the A719 at Moscow. All four slips meet the B7082 at simple giveways, the southbound offslip having the unusual feature of 3 segregated give way lines - one for either direction on the B7082, and one to continued ahead onto the southbound offslip to reach the minor road to Moscow.

The junction is a later addition to the bypass which opened in 1973. At that time, Grassyards Road was unclassified, and simply crossed over the new road, with the Moscow Road junction on the far side. The B7082 appears to have been created when the junction opened, although the precise date has not been identified.
