Gresford Interchange is Junction 6 of the A483 in the Welsh Government's junction numbering scheme.
The junction marked the northern end of the A483 for many years, with a flared approach to the roundabout. It is built on the site of a T Junction between Chester Road and Blue Bell Lane, which met outside Blue Bell Cottages.
