This ancient arch bridge is Grade one Listed and carries the B3362 across the Tamar from Devon to Cornwall. Dating back to 1439, Greystone Bridge was built with money raised by Bishop Lacey.
The bridge consists of 8 stone arches, 4 over the river and an additional two flood arches on either bank. There are 5 refuges on each side over the piers of the main river arches, but the road is still only single-track and so is controlled by traffic lights at either end.
