Grove Lodge Roundabout marks one end of the A24 and A27 running in duplex.
Before the roundabout was built, the A24/A27 The Warren split into two roads: Upper Brighton Road and Broadwater Street West. Grove Lodge, positioned in between the two, lends its name to the junction. South Barn Road and Hill Farm Lane intersected the split, creating a complicated layout, with the new Offington Avenue turning it into a strange, six-armed complex of roads.
In the 1970s this was converted to a standard roundabout.
