Guildiehaugh Roundabout is the junction of the A89 and the B792 to the south east of Bathgate town centre. It is a large four-arm junction, with the two routes crossing at a fairly acute angle, indeed the western arms of each route leave the junction almost parallel. Despite this, the central island is circular, and none of the turns feel particularly awkward. All four arms gain a second lane on the approaches to separate turning traffic.
The current roundabout replaces an older skewed crossroads, which lay on the western side of the modern junction. The western arm of the A89 previously curved earlier to form a straight line through the junction. The point where the two routes crossed therefore lies approximately under the bushes on the western side of the roundabout, with both arms of the B792 also therefore having been subtly realigned to accommodate the new layout.
