Hewitts Roundabout and M25 Junction 4 are linked by a 1.2km motorway spur. The M25 roundabout, and the spur between the two roundabouts, are managed by the Highways England, while Hewitts Roundabout itself is managed by Transport for London.
The road linking the two roundabouts is explicitly signed as 'M25 SPUR' on Driver Location Signs, though the carriageways are J and M - ie sliproads.
