Hunslet Interchange is junction 4 of the M621. It was junction 46 of the M1.
The western half of this junction is more or less as built and opened in December 1972 as part of the original northern end of the M1, which became part of the M621 in 1999. The eastern half was extensively altered as part of the construction of the final section of the Leeds Inner Ring Road, completed in October 2008.
