Jobs Corner was originally on the junction to the north, with Jobs Lane heading east to west, Stairbridge Lane to the North and Pookbourne Lane to the South. In 1997 when the A2300 was built a new cross road was created, which goes by the same name. This crossroad is on the only part of the A2300 which is dualed, however it is only a couple of hundred meters and only a D1 road.
Due to a new housing development which is proposed to start in 2019, the A2300 is planned on being dualed and this junction to be made into a LILO, there is a roundabout less than 300 meters to the west that can be used to turn about.
