Lady Bay Bridge is an iron bridge carrying two lanes of traffic over the River Trent, in Nottingham. It lies just to the east of Trent Bridge, the principal crossing in the town.
Lady Bay Bridge was originally designed for the river crossing of the Midland Railway's Nottingham to Melton line, and was abandoned when the railway closed in 1968. Plans were made soon after to open the bridge to road traffic, in order to relieve the overloaded Trent Bridge. This conversion was completed in the 1980s.
