The Langfaulds Roundabout was constructed in the summer of 2010 to ease queuing traffic trying to leave the B8050. Over the years, the traffic levels on both routes had increased substantially and lengthy queues had started to form at peak times to turn out of the B8050 onto the A810, especially as most traffic was turning right. The junction had previously been a simple uncontrolled T-junction, and is now a 3-arm roundabout, with two approach lanes on each arm to separate turning traffic.
The roundabout is named after the nearby Langfaulds Farm.
