Lawley Common Roundabout is a junction on the A5223 in Telford. It wasn't a part of the original plans for the new town. Instead, what is now the A5223 was originally to be a dual carriageway with grade separated junctions known as the Western Primary. This would have passed to the east of Lawley Common. With the scaling back of proposals for Telford in the mid 1970s the Western Primary was replaced with the single carriageway A5223.
When first built Lawley Common Roundabout was completely rural but started to become urbanised in the 21st century. In 2009 the A5223 to the north of the junction was dualled. Since then the land to the east of the junction has been developed. The junction is now almost completely surrounded by development.
