Limekiln Bank Roundabout is located on the A5 on the eastern edge of the Telford urban area, Shropshire where it meets the A4640. It is located at the eastern end of the St. George's Bypass, constructed in the late 1920s.
It is known locally as "the Thomas Telford roundabout" due to the sculpture located in the centre of the roundabout, which features two diamonds containing the letter "T".
History
Work commenced in March 2016 using Pinch Point funding to widen the roundabout and all approaches. The work is due to be completed by the end of 2016.
