Lindsaybeg Roundabout lies to the south east of Lenzie, itself now part of the Kirkintilloch conurbation. It was opened in 2010 as part of the A8006 extension south to meet the M80 completion at Hornshill Junction. On completion, the A8006 was renumbered as the A806, so it is now that route which forms the mainline north - south through the roundabout. Prior to the construction of the roundabout, the B819, Lindsaybeg Road, passed through the site in a long straight, having just left the Lenzie urban area to the west.
The new road has been banked up to the north of the roundabout, allowing it to climb up from the former railway alignment it had been following, and then runs through a short cutting to the south, where it passes under the original line of Lindsaybeg road, although it had been realigned many years prior to the new junction being built.
