Link roads (Republic of Ireland)

From Roader's Digest: The SABRE Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Link roads formed part of the system of road classification and numbering in use in the Republic of Ireland prior to 1977.

Link roads bore one-, two-, or three-digit numbers prefixed by the letter L. They should not be confused with the present system of Local roads, which are also prefixed by the letter L but bear four- or five-digit numbers.
