The iconic Little Chef on the A1 at Markham Moor, during roadworks to remove the at-grade roundabout.

Little Chef was a restaurant chain founded in 1958. It was popular in its heyday with over 400 premises but since the start of the 21st century had been in terminal decline with many premises closing, and the last stores closed in 2018 following the chain's aquisation by Euro Garages.
