Long Newton Junction is trumpet junction on the A66. It was opened in June 2008 to allow local access following the closure of various centre reservation gaps on this section of the A66.
The junction does not connect to any classified roads, however it does connect to the C139 for the village of Long Newton and the C140 which is a reasonably important link road to the A67 and Teesside Airport.
