Bricket Wood Junction is Junction 21A of the M25. It is numbered 21A as junction numbering did not allow enough numbers for the junctions between Chandlers Cross and Bignells Corner. It opened at the same time as the motorway, in 1986.
The junction is a simple roundabout interchange, complicated by the west-facing sliproads being interwoven with those of Chiswell Interchange. The A405 to the south of here is trunk, as it forms the link between the M25 and the M1 heading into London.
