Tipner Bridge (originally Tipner Lake Bridge) crosses a corner of Portsmouth Harbour on the M275.
The bridge was the subject of a civic beautification project in the year 2000. Called 'Portsmouth Gateway', three mock-sails were added to each side of the bridge, to make it look less utilitarian. It is unusual for a British motorway to be decorated in this way.
