Huyton Spur

The Huyton Spur is junction 3 of the M57.

It was a much later addition to the motorway section which had opened on 27 March 1974. The junction and the 0.45 mile spur to the Stocksbridge Lane roundabout opened on 25 January 1985 per the Noise Insulation Regulations notice. The 0.7 mile A526 Seth Powell Way, south of the roundabout to A57, also opened on the same day.
