This article is about the current junction 8 on the M8.
For the original junction 8, see Arkleston Interchange.
For the original junction 8, see Arkleston Interchange.
Baillieston Interchange is junction 8 of the M8 and junction 2 of the M73.
A major junction in Scotland, where the route from England to Glasgow meets the Edinburgh - Glasgow route. Major changes have affected this junction somewhat - the M74 completion has enabled traffic from the south to reach Central Glasgow by motorway without coming by this junction, and the M8 completion has changed the layout somewhat.
