Provan Interchange is junction 13 of the M8 and junction 1 of the M80.
Approaching from the west, the motorway splits, with the left-hand lanes going to the M80 and the right-hand lanes for the M8. Movements between the eastern M8 and M80 are more complex, requiring you to leave the motorway and negotiate surface streets - although the presence of the M73 linking the M8 and M80 a little further east means such movements will seldom be required.
The final phase of the Glasgow East End Regeneration Route will link in with this junction from the south, providing a connection to the M74; currently the Regeneration Route is numbered the A728 but this may change.
