Madryn Interchange is junction 14 of the A55.
It was originally a flat junction opened in 1989 as the west end of the Llanfairfechan bypass. It was grade separated in 1994 as part of the Abergwyngregyn improvement, which was the last stage of the original dualling of the A55.
