|Junctions related to the A907|
Lying to the east of Stirling, Manor Powis roundabout is part of the cities eastern bypass, taking (Glasgow) traffic from the motorway onto the A907 and A91 routes into Clackmannanshire, Kinross and Fife. It is a rather ordinary roundabout on the face of it, two roads crossing at right angles in a flat and featureless landscape (albeit with the rocks of Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument off to the west). However, for many years it was a little less dull, with the A907 to the east having a new disconnected section built to the north awaiting completion at either end! The new road is now the mainline of the A907, and it is the old road which lies parallel, serving property access but with no connection at this the western end.
There is a direct slip lane from the eastern A907 to the southern A91, albeit defined mostly by paint on the road. The A91 is signed as primary at this junction, although it is not clear if this is still the case.
