Marks Tey Interchange is junction 25 of the A12. It comprises two roundabouts, to the southwest is the Marks Tey Roundabout, and to the northeast is the Prince of Wales Roundabout
History
The main intersection between the A12 and A120 was originally a simple fork in the road. By 1946, the A120 had been slightly diverted to avoid the Blue Goose Inn, and by 1960 the roads met at a roundabout - the A12 south of here being one of the first sections of the road to be dualled.
In 1969, the opening of the A12 Stanway Bypass caused the route from the south to head northeast between a gap in the old road and the station. The old roundabout still remains as part of the current grade separated junction.
