Marshill Roundabout sits next to the prominent Alloa Town Hall, a striking building at the west end of the town centre. Old maps suggest that the junction lies on the site of the old bus station, and was built as part of the town centre relief road, which saw the A907 moved to the northern edge of the centre. Prior to this, the A907 ran along Mill Street to the south.
The roundabout is a 4-arm junction, with the A907 coming past the Town Hall, and turning to meet the roundabout as the south west arm. It continues to the north east. To the north west, the B9096 heads out through the suburbs to Tullibody, meeting the re-routed A908 a short distance from the roundabout. The south east arm leads into the town centre, although traffic is generally directed along the A907 to the car parks on the east side of the centre.
