Marypark is a small village strung along the roadside of the A95 in Strathspey. It is also the junction where the B9138 meets the A95, having crossed the River Spey on Blacksboat Bridge. It is therefore one of the few crossing points of the Spey between Craigellachie Bridge and Grantown on Spey, making it an important link for some of the communities on the north side of the river, along the B9102.
The junction itself is a simple T junction, with the B9138 turning north off of the A95 at a slight kink. Almost immediately, however, the B road turns left, the straight ahead route being a minor road into the forest to serve a scattering of properties.
There is a small stream running beneath the junction, and the crossing is named Bridge of Marypark.
